Stories of interest

VALIDs’ Keys to Success team have been working in rural Victoria. They delivered the Staying Safe presentation to a group of young adults from Special Olympics Victoria in Echuca. The people who attended were enthusiastic and honest in their reaction to the videos and conversation. VALID also received great feedback – that the presentation was informative and easy to understand.

They then delivered the Staying Safe presentation in Cobram to a group of NDIS participants and staff from PALS Cobram. This was followed up with three full days of Keys to Success Empowerment training. VALID staff had a constructive time and were grateful for the interactions, comments and experiences shared during the course. Each participant was invested in their self-development and sharing their advice with others.

Feedback received was positive and enthusiastic, even a couple members of the group wanted to continue on for a few more days as they were enjoying the course so much!
