You do not need to be a member of VALID in order to access our various forms of advocacy support, VALID’s advocacy support services are free.   However, VALID relies on the support and participation of its members to carry out its work.

Full Membership
Full membership rights are available to individuals who are
o Committed to the aims of the organisation.
o Passionate about the rights of people of people with disability.
o Dedicated to working collaboratively.

Full membership entitles you to:
o Vote within the VALID Inc. Association
o Take part in working parties and sub-committees
o Nominate for the VALID Committee of Management
o Receive the VALID newsletter and other correspondence
o Receive 10% discount on all VALID resources, materials and conference registrations.
o Receive a free Having a Say conference DVD.

Associate Membership
Associate Membership is available to organisations and support groups wishing to support and be informed about VALID's work. Associate members are not able to vote within VALID Inc.

Associate membership entitles you to:
o Participate in VALID activities
o Receive the VALID Newsletter and other correspondence
o Receive 10% discount on all VALID Conference registration fees.

Newsletter Subscription
You do not have to be listed as a VALID member in order to receive or newsletter. However, a subscription fee of $10 applies to cover production and postage costs.

Donations
Donations to VALID of more than $2 are tax deductable and greatly appreciated. If you would like to assist VALID's work by making a donation, please send a cheque payable to VALID at 235 Napier Street Fitzroy, Vic, 3065
