is able to offer some sponsorship to assist people on low incomes |
The Sponsorship Application form is included at the back of the Registration Form booklet.
Closing Date for Sponsorship Applications
Applications for Sponsorship along with your completed Registration Form must be received
by VALID no later than the 19th November 2010
When will I know if we were successful?
All sponsorship applications will be considered. VALID will notify all applicants of the
outcome of their Sponsorship application by 3rd December 2010.
Who Can Apply for Sponsorship?
Adults (people aged 16 and over)
* People with a disability (ie. physical, sensory, intellectual, ABI or
multiple disability as defined by the Disability Act 2006)
* Family members of people with disability
Who will be given Priority for Sponsorship?
* People who would not be able to afford to pay for their conference
registration without sponsorship due to financial difficulty
* People who do not have support from a service to attend (ie. attending
as individual)
* People who live in rural or remote areas
* People who are part of projects or activities promoting leadership
More Information
If you would like to discuss your Sponsorship Application or if you require support with
other costs you have to assist you attend the conference such as Accommodation,
Transport or Attendant Care, please contact Christine or Brenda at VALID.
VALID is able to offer sponsorship to assist people with the cost of registration (etc) thanks to the financial sponsorship of the Principal sponsors plus the conference support from the other sponsors.
