REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS

Early Bird registration
Registrations received and paid by the 25th November 2011 may pay the discounted Early Bird rate.
After 25th Nov. 2011 ‘Standard Registration' fees will apply to all registrations.

‘Concession’ Registration Fee
Individuals registering for the conference who have a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card use the concession registration price. Additional Sponsorship can be applied for (use Sponsorship Application Form) where people are experiencing significant financial hardship.

Staff Registration
The reduced fee for ‘Support Staff’ category is only available to staff, parents or carers who are providing full time assistance (eg. transport, personal care, supervision) during the conference for individuals with disability who are unable to participate without this support.

Membership discount
Current financial members of VALID are entitled to a 10% discount on the registration fee (as indicated on the registration form)
What the Registration Fees includes:
•   Morning & afternoon tea
•   Entrance to conference sessions & activities (eg. Come & Try).
•   The Full registration includes the Thursday Dinner/Disco
     NOTE: Individual day registration for Thursday does NOT include registration for the disco/dinner.

Registration Fees DO NOT include:
•    Drinks at the Dinner Disco (Note: available to buy at bar prices)
•    Meals other than the Conference Dinner on Thurs night (if registered for this)
•    Transport to and from the venue or disco
•    A copy of the Conference DVD (can be purchased using Order Form in Reg’n Bag)
Making a Payment
VALID does not have credit card facilities - payments can be made by cheque or direct deposit. 
Please do not send cash through the mail.

Cancellation of a Registration
Registration Fees are only refundable where written advice is provided to VALID by the 27th January 2012. After this date, fees are not refundable except where unexpected emergency.  These refunds will be dealt with individually and IF a refund is given the catering costs VALID has to pay will be deducted the refund.
Photos and Video footage taken at the conference    
The permission given on the registration form is only for photos & video footage of ordinary conference activities.
All shots will be respectful, promote dignity & are only used for conference publicity
